Thailand Comic Con Part 1: Cosplayers, Gamers and fans of all kinds come out to Comic Con!

I am not affiliated with Thailand Comic Con or any of the persons/organizations mentioned. This is not a sponsored post. Image heavy, enjoy! :)

On Sunday May 11th, we went to Thailand Comic Con and had a blast!

Unfortunately I heard about the convention a bit late and was only able to attend one of the three days because of work.
 .·´¯`(>▂<)´¯`·.
But you better believe I will be ready next year!

Thailand Comic Con was located at Siam Paragon Exhibition and Convention Center. To get there you would take the BTS train to Siam station, exit to the right and head up to the fifth floor. Don't worry if you have trouble there are lots of information desks around Paragon mall if you get a bit lost. We did but we're always lost...

Anywayyy, At the top of the escalator we were greeted by crowds of people taking photo with people dressed in cosplay of all kinds.

A group dressed as DC and Marvel heroes.

Entrance fee for the day was 60 baht (approx. $2), not bad at all!
I really should have taken a photo of the crowd of photogs swarming these two. Cute costumes and I really want to know where the girl on the left got her elvish pointed ears. Good quality.
The Square Enix booth...
The Gaming center set up to advertise Echo of Soul MMORPG was really busy. Had to wait a while for a free computer time to test it out.
In the meantime the giant screen played previews of the game.
EOS: Echo of Soul Game home screen...
EOS: Echo of Soul MMORPG - Character building screen. I'm the type who will spend hours on a game just selecting characters physical features and clothes. I'm particular lol. I  was kind of disappointed after that I could not find an English site for this game. Only found website in Thai so I am not sure if it is available outside the region. I think the graphics and animation were pretty high quality.
There was a camera crew interviewing people who were dressed in cosplay.
On the main stage there were plenty of events throughout the day. This is a famous Thai model and actor Pakorn Chatborirak who works for Channel 3. He's been in a bunch of Thai Lakorns (TV dramas) but I mostly know him from CP "easy snack" commercials in which he goes crazy for CP hotdogs. lol
Performance by Japanese Pop girl-group Yumemiru Adolescence.
Gundam Cosplayer... must have been difficult getting around with that wing span. It would be easy to knock someone out.
Chat with Tokyo Girls Collection presenters. I have an undying love for Japanese Gyaru (Gal) fashion and follow models from Japanese magazines like Vivi, Scawaii, Popteen etc. So I was SUPER excited to see the Tokyo Girls collection was there. I am so dissapointed I didn't know about Thailand Comic Con sooner because freaking Tsubasa Masuwaka was scheduled to be there the day prior and I missed the Tokyo Girls fashion show (FML)... but I did catch the Sunday event, Momo's half face makeup tutorial. I plan to write about in Part 3 so stay tuned.
Cosplayers taking a break.
More cosplay girls getting swarmed by photogs.

。゚(TヮT)゚。
Nice kigarumi onesie! Cute as f*#$! I want one. lol

That's all for Part 1 of my Thailand Comic Con adventure. Check back or follow me on twitter and instagram for more updates!
Until next time!
